I'd suggest reconsidering the online purchase for a couple of reasons.

1. By the time you pay the LBS to assemble it, you're pretty much at the price point of entry level from the LBS.
2. Warranty: You will have to do all the leg work (phoning/emailing) if you buy from an online vendor. You buy from the LBS, they will coordinate all of that for you.
3. Test rides are a far better way of determining fit than looking at a geometry table on your computer screen.
