That is for a different gripshift but if you look at the customers who also viewed section they show the older style but they are unavailable. The price of the x0 grips being $14 each makes $20 for a set of two complete shifters look pretty good though. Yes you also need shifters that are shimano compatible to match your rear Derailleur. I have no idea on the bar tape bit.
