I'm using my HTC One for my bike computer right now. My longest ride is 25 miles/2 hours, so battery life is a non issue. I put it on battery saver mode when I run the freebie GPS app. I have a Garmin Etrex and ran them side by side for one ride and they tracked virtually the same, so I decided to just use my phone.
