I'm not sure there's much to do other than keep it inside and clean it occasionally. The chrome plating itself is great protection if it was properly done to begin with. I'm the second owner of my '72 chrome Paramount, and neither I nor the previous owner have done anything special in caring for it. It's over forty years old and still looks new; there's zero pitting or rust anywhere.
