Have a morning to MTB near St. George, UT

I'm going TO (not through) St George for the first time next week and will have one or two mornings to mountain bike.

Looks like Gooseberry is the place to be, though I'd love recommendations for intermediate trails in the area.

Also, anyone want to go riding on Tuesday morning? I don't want to get lost/dead.

Any great guidebooks?
