do you have the skill to remove the crank and inspect? if not then I suggest finding a good shop to do it for you. There should be no squeak under any condistions if the bike is maintained properly.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I can, I'm new to bicycles, but I've done complete tear downs and engine overhauls on motorcycles several times.
