Yes, Lockring are inferior because I own six bolt. Only after I purchase lockring can it be considered superior.

Actually, that's not far from the truth. The perception is Shimano introduced lockring so that owners of those disc sets would be forced to stay with their product or make a complete and expensive change. The only folks I've seen complain about lockring don't own them. I'm not aware that anyone who has had lockring found them to be inferior or superior to six bolt. I've not seen any concrete evidence that one is better than the other.
