I think the "mid to upper" remark may have discouraged some. If you would describe a bit what you are looking for, maybe more would respond.

Since you're on the forum, I would have thought you would have specified which area you will be working/ or hope to be working in. Give a rough distance/time you would like to spend cycle-commuting and then ask for the best recommendations for that area. If you bike to bus and transport bike on bus, that extends your range a lot.

There are some decent areas in the NW as well, Westminster, parts of Broomfield, and Lafayette have some good areas. Most of this area is more set up for homes than condo's or townhouses. There are some very nice homes in Westminster which are part of an association and there is only common landscaping so you don't have yard work.

Except for UV, Denver area is a great place to live and offers about the best weather of anyplace.
