Exclamation Coeur d’Fondo - Coeur d'Alene, ID Sep. 28 2013

September 28, 2013

LINK

Did the 84 mile ride last year , was challenging and definitely worth it. Epic views, good people and great support. Will be doing the 108 mile ride this year. You can take this ride at whatever pace or go for a timed medal. Last year there was a HUGE turnout and this year is expected to be even bigger. This is one not to miss.

This ride is definitely MTB/Hybrid/Cruiser + Cargo shorts & T-shirt friendly in the 47/37/15 mile routes if you don't own a road bike/spandex, maybe even the 84 if you feel adventurous.

Some of the climbs before Harrison via Scenic Byway 97 are challenging, after that on the 84 that I did last year (route same), there are just a few semi-long stretches of rolling hills and wind.

Coeur d’Fondo will showcase beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene and the forest, roads and scenery along Idaho's Scenic Byway; Highway 97, passing through the communities of Harrison and St. Maries; before finishing back in Coeur d'Alene at the fall Oktoberfest in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
