No mountains here, only 1000-3000 foot high hills connected by thousands of miles of logging roads. Pretty cool in Clatsop and Pacific county. Gates keep out vehicle weekend wanderers though some caution is needed for road patrols. Foot and non-motorized usually get a free pass though you can be tossed for bad behavior. Off limits in active cutting ops and during fall hunting seasons for obvious reasons though some elk hunters use MTBs to access gated areas remaining closes.
