No way I'm going to hobby horse 22 miles & 1200 feet. Even walking in bike shoes for parts of it will suck beyond belief.

I'm sure the Lezyne tool works fine. Still, I know that since I rarely need to mess with my chain, it's going to take at least 20 minutes for me to fix anything, and that's in ideal conditions , like at home with a large, easy leverage chain breaker. Odds are it'll be double that on the road, and even more of a mess. I'm sure you can do it fine, but it's not for me. I'll only do it if there is literally no other choice.
