Newbie looking to buy a bike
Hi, I'm Drew from Long Island (obviously a newbie) and am looking into purchasing a bicycle. My inseem is 30", i'm 5'7 and weight about 165lbs. I am interested in trail riding and also riding on the streets and would probably do so in an even 50-50 ratio. I've been to a few bike shops by me and seem to have gotten some good advice. Right now I am caught between a full suspension bicycle as it is obviously better off-road, but I don't want a bicycle that will slow me down on the road. There is only one local shop I know of that stocks Trek bicycles, and I really like their style, but, as an avid skier, I know that there's more than just looks when it comes to equipment. I apologize for being so general, but I just want some recommendations for a good all around bicycle; I'm not looking to spend too much more than $450 on my first bike. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated
