The Palm Springs Century and the Tour de Tucson are both good choices, IMHO.

They're convenient to SoCalers like myself, and attractive to people in other parts of the country, who'll likely have less than ideal riding weather at home. That's one reason they are immensely popular.

That Las Vegas Gran Fondo in September is interesting ... isn't it flippin hot out there in early September?
