I accepted a ride once. I was riding down a long bridge near the Gulf of Mexico, it was about 4-5 miles long. This squal blew up and heavy winds up to 30 mph right in my face. I accepted a ride across the bridge until the storm blew over, then continued to my destination. Later heard on the radio that that storm blew tops off of baseball dugouts and several homes. I'm not ashamed.
