The penultimate time I did it the temperature at the start was below 50. Started out with arm and leg warmers. Crazy for August. But usually it has been ungodly hot and humid with little shade.
Heading to Frenchtown on Saturday to roll my own 71 miler in Huntderdon & Warren Counties. Lots of nice riding up there with some good climbing. The route back down the river from Belivdere is sweet as can be and, except for the area around Philipsburg, mostly traffic-free.
