1984 Davidson Discovery

The Discovery model is the sport touring cousin of the Impulse racer. Both were built to standard sizes and colors, which reduced production time and enabled them to be sold at a lower price than Davidson’s custom frames. The build quality is superb, the fire engine red finish is gorgeous, and I love the ride. I have set it up with a mix of 1980’s European and Japanese parts including wide-range 12-speed gearing, 27x1¼ wheels, rack, and fenders. It’s a great all-rounder that achieves a nice balance of lightness, comfort, and utility.
