I vacationed with my family near Lake Cumberland, Kentucky over the weekend. It was a little difficult to find roads to ride - it pretty much went straight from highway to gravel back roads in the rural area I was in. I did manage to find a 19 mile ride in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Only saw one car tI use to takehe whole ride
I use to take the back roads through the DB NAt. forest from Somerset or (ironside) i think to Pineville, it's a beautiful area...
For a northwest Ohioan (read: flatlander) like me the hills were a challenge, but I really enjoyed the opportunity to ride there and I snapped a pic at this overlook.
