Pretty nice turnout for the penultimate Encino Wed Night Series, both racers and spectators. Typical omnium, though the A's were stacked... rising star Tim McGee, newly minted National Champion David Brinton ("why are you slumming it here?" "Gotta stay sharp for Worlds."), Philippine National champ Wilson Blas.

Pace was high, and combined with my lack of training, the opener (40 lap points) really hurt. I barely finished (only half the field was on lead lap), and I'm paying for it -- still hacking up lung butter this morning! Punted on the Win-n-Out, and was feeling really depressed about my condition. But finished with a decent effort in the 30-lap scratch for 3rd. Cleave I did notice one of your teammates in the Cs. Didn't get his name, though.
