I've since replaced (not to mention, leveled) the saddle, gone to a longer stem and replaced the pedals with SPDs. If it were steel instead of aluminum I'd seriously consider painting it a more attractive color, but I know nothing about painting aluminum. I bought a cyclocross bike thinking I'd have a little more flexibility as a single-bike owner in terms of road/off-road. That's still true, but so far I've not really gotten off-road with it. I'm pleased with it, but if I knew then what I know now I might have leaned more in a roadie direction. However, it's still a good bike. I just need to ride it more.
