Vacaville GP p/1/2's, 33 miles/30 laps - pack finish, 20-something probably (out of 50).
Hill wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, we went fast up it but nothing too bad. Tried to bridge to a move about midway through but didn't jump hard enough and just dragged the pack with me, oops.
Cones blocking a pothole or something before the last turn seemed to surprise guys a few times, one went down hard. So it goes.
Braked when an almost-crash happened in front of me, causing someone to ram from behind.. bending my derailleur! **** Still rolling so I shrugged and kept on chugging.. but dammit, gotta get that fixed by next weekend!!
Tailgunned for a bunch of laps, on the last lap a group of 4 had left our group, I jumped on the hill to bridge to them, couldn't make it, almost held of the rest of the pack but got swarmed before the line, cruised in.
Good training, and now I know what to expect there next year! I like that course.
