Red Kite 2/3's - 6th. Won the "most aggressive" award for the race.
But looking back perhaps I shoulda just sat in and gone for the sprint.. that's what the winner basically did!
Attacked a bunch, about six times maybe. Chased on the front too. Did too much work.. can't wait to have a team next year!
Pulled a miracle on the last lap - we got swarmed before the 3rd corner, somehow I came from about 30th wheel to about 10th wheel by the last corner. Felt great for the sprint but too much ground to make up. ****.
Was 4th in the omnium going into this race, the last one of the series - needed 7 points on 3rd to take the spot back. Only got 6 so we ended up tied, and they gave him 3rd b/c he did that TT last weekend I guess. Oh well, a check's in the mail anyway.

Red Kite p/1/2's, 10 minutes after the 2/3's race. "Sat in". Almost gave up 20 mins in, but the legs came around. Felt good towards the end, but not good enough. Sprinted for 16th.
