Doesn't the Paddy Wagon fit full fenders and have eyelets? Just do that and add some long mudflaps and be done with it.

SS/fixed is really the thing for crap weather if you're not trying to keep up with fast group rides, etc... Way easier to clean the drivetrain and replacement drivetrain parts are way cheaper when the grime gets the better of them.

I have a fendered Cross Check and a fendered ss Brompton. Not too exciting.
