Welcome to Bike Forums from a 71 y/o Texas road rider.
You are doing Great....More miles are fun and beneficial if you can find others to ride with.
You might ask at your local bike shops if they know of some riders or rides you could join.
Change you tires to Slick 700 X 28's and you will find pedalling becomes easier and you might go faster and further.
Look around, have fun on BF, asked questions. Your First Bike is a learning bike.
