No need to use tri-flow on the stanchions. The RS has foam rings under the oil seal, so all you need to do is invert the fork prior to riding to let the foam rings soak up some of the bath oil.

Every six weeks is overkill, but don't let it go too long. Rockshox does have very little bath oil for their air forks -- typically 5-8ml, which is pretty small compared to 30ml per side on Fox forks. Dropping the lowers and doing a simple bath oil change should take less than 30min once you get the hang of it.
