Hello!
I am a newcomer to the forum, and was wondering if someone on here might help me solve the puzzle I'm facing... I got this bike about a month ago. The previous owner told me it probably was built in Chicago sometime between the late 60's - early 80's. I tried to get information about the bike based on the serial number, only to find that the number didn't match ANY descriptions for Schwinn serial numbers I could find online. From what I can tell, it's 4C06998. After talking to an equally-bewildered Schwinn representative on the phone this morning, I decided to field my conundrum to the knowledgeable community here. Any thoughts?
