A small note, don't freak out if you gain 2-5lbs in the first few days, its just glycogen & hydration recovering to a 100% state. If you're biking often, you're always in a state of some glycogen deficit. The stuff is pretty heavy/kcal as its bound with water. Its the same stuff that people on miracle diets claim to lose 7lbs in 7days are playing with. It'll burn off the first long, high-aerobic ride you do when you get back.
