I ordered one for my mongoose beast fat tire, doubt that the weight will be an issue. It is also my understanding that the classic is shallow but the newer ones are deep and the bar ends a little wider. At least I'm hoping that is true, will know in a week.
I hadn't noticed the new version has a shallower, two-wire basket. The older one had a deeper, 3-wire basket, but overall height looks the same, bar width spec is the same, and model name, Classique Cargo, is the same.
