I could never find any info on this ride so I thought I'd post it up. My friend and I did a ride from Palm Springs to Las Vegas (thru Amboy, Mojave National Preserve and Nipton). The roads were all perfect and had very light traffic minus a few miles we had to ride on I-15 heading in to state line. You can find photos here:
