I mounted a Cygolite to the seatstay rack boss on my '83 Trek. Looks a bit more 'integrated' that way. I always use steady mode and leave it there unless I lock it up outside (rarely). Still need to install my dynamo-driven Spanninga Pixeo on my rear fender. I also use a Superflash on my backpack if I'm wearing it.
In the front I'm running an IQ Cyo on the Trek, and use a doublefish velcro mount to do a 180 lumen CREE light on other bikes.
