Yesterday picked up an Aandewiel
http://www.klassiekeracefiets.info/2.../09/aandewiel/. The last 2 years I havent seen many of these popping up on the classified market, neither online pictures. So therefore more pictures of my fresh Aandewiel.

The rear mech has patent 78 and the Brooks B17 Professional saddles is marked 78 too. The framenumber starts with 79 and. Its the 6th bike of that year. The current owner of the Aandewiel shop, 3rd Piet (i guess after reading the above mentioned article), one day told me that his father and his grandpa Piet only used to build a hand full or a dozen bikes per year.
The pinstriping is really, really old school (I have seen it alot on 50-60s bikes not on late 70 bikes) and I like it. Bought it from a mid 30s guy who got out of one of his fathers's friends legacy. The bike is in pristine condition and has some really nerdy red details like red valvecaps and red bar end plugs matching the red pinstriping and decals. Also fancy Aandewiel transfers on the rims.
....But oh my god I am really fond of this one!
