There are rear rack mounts on this frame. I am not sure why Giant put those on a carbon frame. Carbon is built more for speed and endurance. Its definately a light bike- I have not weighed it yet but its around 20 lbs. As far as the shifters on this bike- they are pretty close to the Shimano Deore rapid shifters- in fact I thought thats what they were when I first test rode the bike. Good enough for me. I bought this bike mainly for riding on flat paved rail trails.

With one of the seat post rack mounts it may work for me. I wonder if my LBS would be willing to swap out the 105s on my RX0…. Thanks for the pic.
