Here's an '82 614 I fixed up for my son to use on our C & O Canal Towpath trip last spring. We had a great time and the bike did real well. Upgraded with NOS Gran Compe centerpulls, Silver shifters, Sachs Quarz derailleurs, Nitto stem and bars, and a used 700C wheelset. I also changed out the original middle chainring. Although I'm a big fan, I didn't feel like he was quite ready for the factory supplied half-step gearing.
