I replaced a ALU fork on my Opus Sentiero with a CF fork & find it helps me. Sometime it helps to shake your arms/hands during longer rides.
Are you sure your fit is optimal for you?
I place very little weight on my handlebars, & usually never feel numb. Relax your arms/hands while riding. I used to death grip my bars, & this would cause numbness too.
