The only seat stay mounted light I've ever been happy with were the old ones that took N size batteries, and that's the problem with them (N size batteries). I'm currently looking for a solution for this for my girlfriends main bike, and depending on how I like my Fiber Flare, may go that route for her, although I'd prefer something that was easier to remove and take with you so that it doesn't get stolen when the bike is locked up somewhere.

There's a ton of lights out there that mount to seat stays, but every one I look at seems to be aimed at the sky instead of towards the cars coming from behind you like it should be.
