A balmy 48F this morning but it's apparently the calm before the storm (literally) - looking for snow accumulation by Friday.
This was my third day of riding with a new, shorter crank. I'm trying to protect my knee and the short crank is forcing me to spin at a steady, high rpm (which is good). But this morning was my first experience with a decent headwind and I have NO torque. In my mind I know all I need to do is drop a gear or two but my head also says "you're a wimp if you ride in that gear." I'm glad no one else knows of my insane self talk... oh wait, now you all do...
