I have a Salsa Vaya for sale in the forum that has BB7 brakes, Ultegra brakes (grifters), derailers and shifters, as well as the better Mavic rims. It has peddles, fenders, and everything you'd need for $1400. Its a 56cm. You'd be getting a lot more bike for the money you are talking about.

Anyway, something for you to consider in addition to the others suggested.
