I had a Cyclepro Regent! 'Twas my first "real" bike way back in 1988-ish.

They were made by Nishiki.

Not a bad bike, although I would hardly call it top of the line. As I recall it cost around $450, which wasn't a small sum back then. I remember it had a cottered crank. 12 Speed. I'm pretty sure it had Shimano deraileurs on it.

I set it up as a tourer, and logged some heavy miles on it though, often with weights in the panniers. Then some miserable bastard stole it.

If the one the guy is trying to sell is red with Blue Nashbar panniers on it, hold him down until I get there!
