+1. In theory, the tire should not be damaged by taking it off/putting it on repeatedly. In practice, it may or may not be, depending on you. Especially if one of the tires is a tight fit and you use excess force to take it off/put it on, you may eventually damage it (my dear own mother partially ripped the bead wire off a precious winter tire this winter).
+1. Unfortunately, I've ruined at least one tire. That one was a bugger to get on and off. Last flat was, well, its last!
