have the lockring removal tool on hand,

And zip tie the large cog to the spokes . to eliminate the shop chainwhip.



I used a screw on freewheel a 48 spoke wheel , and my only spoke break left 47 remaining..
so I did a bit of touch up truing , and rode on for a few days till I borrowed a Big Spanner
and unscrewed the freewheel and replaced the spoke..

Made a new friend along the way , the fellow with the adjustable wrench.


My friend Peter , got to use his rudimentary Spanish skills in the Argentine Andes ..

I gave him a chain tool, he instead brought a lighter one which broke .
and had to ask someone for a Builder's Nail
and used a rock to bang the chain back together.
