Interesting. And more confusing. The new digital cellular lines are every bit as secure and dependable as are the old twisted pairs still in use for landline phones. You can even have an old established land line number moved to cellular.... OR transfer office/work numbers to ring on a cell number when away from the phone.

I've often though of a boat based retirement residence.......... almost EVERYTHING can be done with mobility now.
