What's the issue with the dropout, though? It looks status post repair of some sort. FWIW, it's a fairly rare dropout with the drilling for the spring of the single-pulley "Sport" derailleur, and depending on your plans for the frame, might be worth trying to preserve.
The dropout was welded back together. Not sure how it got tore but it was a serious repair done well before I received the bike.
I don't think I would ever hang a Campy Sport on this bike, I am more of a Nuovo Record or Record type a guy. This is no way a museum piece but I don't want to ride a ripped and welded dropout. I intend on re-chroming the dropouts and refinishing the frame. I was VERY lucky to get some original varnish type of decals from a friend of a friend in Italy. Nothing against Velo Cals or any of the other guys but nothing beats original. Just made contact with a pinstriper in the cities today.
