Veloce is decent stuff, works well. The silver stuff looks just swell in my book, and well worth 411 bones IMO. If I were building up a vintage steel road frame from scratch, I'd be hard pressed to do it for less (but then again, have done so many times via scrounging).

Things I don't care for about it are pretty minor. The power torque crankset is a PITA to remove (just ask Robbie), and the shifters aren't rebuildable (but replacement "cores" are available for around $60). If anything the FD control is a little "notchy" if your cabling and FD is running less than perfectly. No single pivot rear option. Again, all relatively minor gripes.
