Even without studded tyres it handles snow and icy roads really well, those Specialized Team tyres are sticky and as folders stay pretty supple when it is -25.

Changed the chain-ring to a smaller 41 tooth yesterday to give the bike a little more stump pulling, snow crawling, and skid-able gearing... if I spin it out I'll be doing about 15mph.
