Its definitely not a top of the line bike but Ishiwata tubing is not a bad indiciation of a relatively decent bike that could be used for shredding around in the rain. Its got all alloy stuff on it too so that beats any junker with steel wheels in my view. From the pics it also appears to be in pretty good condition for a mid 80's run of the mill still bike. In Vancouver people are selling bikes like this for about $350. It may be a little over priced at that but if you can talk the guy down then why not give it a try.
