Parts on order for first wheel build attempt with LBS tutelage. I have a 36 hole Duraace front hub ($10 from LBS), 36 hole Surly fixed rear hub, and SunRingle CR18 rims in silver. Figured I would make a touring wheelset for the SS "round the state" ride before going complicated. LBS strongly pushed straight gage spokes, so I went along. I figured build first wheelset with cheapest parts possible so as to not roach too much valuable.
