Here is Frank the Welder at work (I borrowed this photo from his blog; Frank I hope you don't mind!)



As you can see, the repair was no simple affair



The original design was somewhat flawed in that the seat binder area was prone to failure due to the extremely thin titanium tubing. I wan't to be able to ride this bike, not simply hang it on a wall, so Frank advised the adding some reinforcement.

I received the bike with Frank's file marks (per agreement, and budgetary reasons) and finished the polishing of the frame after receipt from Frank a few months ago.
