Hercules (pre-Raleigh) women's 3 speed model & year?

Hello there! I just picked up my new town cruiser Hercules and was hoping you could help me find out what model and year it is. It has the pre-Raleigh drop outs (w/ serial code 5960 BW), no head badge (but cream/white paint where it should go), original blue paint w/ white pinstripes, missing shifter/cable, Made in England stamped on BB/rims/hubs, Hercules Cycle & Motor stamped hub but NO date (B Type 5), BB grease port, and a made in Switzerland rear rack.

From the research I've done today, I'm guessing it's early-mid 50's but would like to pin point it's exact year if possible, find out what model it is and what head badge it should have on it. Of the catalogs I could find, there were no blue w/ white pin stripe color options that I could find. Also, if you have any suggestions as to where I could get a vintage shifter/cable to spruce her back up, that would be great. Thank you for your help!
