This highway 1 trail in Half Moon Bay is very dangerous where it crosses roads like Filbert, that don't have any stop sign or signal on the highway. Cars will make the turn fast to avoid oncoming traffic. The trail is just separated enough from the highway that drivers don't notice the bikes there. Probably safer to ride along the highway.
