Trainer or rollers are always a good supplement. I can't do a zone 1 recovery ride outdoors at all. Every direction is up. And this evening for recovery, I did a longish zone 1 roller ride with 7 X 2' (each leg) OLP intervals. Can't do that on the road. Plus it's still raining here. This week we have nice weather so we'll get out Wednesday and Thursday, but it's going to be rain riding again this weekend. I don't rain ride during the week. I get enough of it on the weekend. In any case, I'll ride my rollers at least once a week all summer.

My fluid resistance unit somehow lost most of its fluid over the past 15 years. I'm experimenting with different fluids for replacement. It's like having a new set again. Loving it.
