Thanks for the great comments . I just posted this and went for a bike ride before it rains again . I biked 14.6 km so 9 miles . I'm starting to feel stronger , my legs feel stronger and i'll stick with biking for sure . As for the beer i drink lite beer so about 110 calorie each . I also walk and will work in the yard and garden for longer periods of time . I'm not doing this to allow me to drink beer but just to put the old body in better shape . I love this site it's a great help .
